Reviews
Rated 5.0 / 5 across 56 verified reviews from real customers who rented with us in Agadir.
Read all 56 reviews on Google →Agadir is the easiest place in Morocco to explore on your own wheels, and a car rental in Agadir turns a beach holiday into a proper road trip. From Al Massira Airport you're thirty minutes from the marina, forty from the surf at Taghazout, and about an hour from the waterfalls at Paradise Valley, 60 km away. Public transport reaches almost none of it, so hiring a car in Agadir is what makes the region open up.
We're a local agency, not an international chain, rated 5.0 from 56 Google reviews. That means one all-inclusive price, a real person on WhatsApp when you land, and a car that's ready when you are. You can rent a car in Agadir with us in under two minutes, with free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup, so there's no risk in booking early to lock in the rate.
The single biggest surprise for visitors renting a car in Morocco is the deposit. Most international companies authorise a hold of €500 to €1,500 on your credit card for the length of the rental — money you can't spend until the car comes back and the hold is released, which can take days. It's the number one complaint about car hire in Agadir, and it's the first thing we removed. We take no deposit at all.
Insurance is the other place the advertised price quietly falls apart. A low base rate often includes only third-party cover, leaving you to buy collision and theft protection at the counter — frequently more than the rental itself. Our rate includes a full collision damage waiver and theft protection from the start. There's an excess, as with any rental, and you can reduce it to zero with an optional top-up when you book if you'd rather not think about it at all.
What you actually need to drive away is straightforward: a passport and a licence you've held for at least a year. No credit card is required — you pay at pickup, in cash or by card on our terminal, and nothing is held or blocked. If your licence is not in French or Arabic, you should carry an International Driving Permit (IDP) alongside it — many agencies in Agadir accept EU, UK, US and Canadian licences without one, but police at checkpoints may request it. If anything about your licence or trip is unusual, message us before you book and we'll confirm in plain terms.
Most visitors collect their car the moment they land. Al Massira Airport (AGA) is about 25 km southeast of the city, and there's no useful public transport into town, so having the car waiting is the difference between starting your holiday and queuing for a taxi. We track your flight, so an early or delayed arrival is no problem — someone meets you in the arrivals hall with the keys and the paperwork already done.
Delivery to the airport is free, and you can just as easily be met at your hotel, the marina, or anywhere in the city. Drop-off works the same way in reverse: leave the car at the airport before your flight, or have us collect it wherever suits you. There's no counter to find and no queue to stand in.

Agadir is one of the easier Moroccan cities to drive in — it was rebuilt on a grid after 1960, so the roads are wide and the signage is bilingual French and Arabic. Traffic is calm by Moroccan standards. Parking is easy: most of the seafront and the marina have paid parking watched by an attendant (a few dirhams and a small tip is normal), and hotels have their own.
Fuel is cheap by European standards and stations are everywhere in town; fill up before longer trips inland, where they thin out. Most rental cars here are diesel, which is cheaper again per kilometre.
The main roads are in good condition, including the coast road north to Taghazout and Essaouira and the fast route east toward Marrakech; mountain roads into the Anti-Atlas are narrower and worth taking slowly.
You'll pass the occasional police checkpoint on intercity roads — this is routine. Keep your licence, passport and rental documents in the car, slow down, and you'll usually be waved straight through. Speed limits are enforced by radar, so stick to them. None of this is a reason to hesitate: with a rental car, Agadir is a genuinely relaxed place to drive.
